Villa Borgheze is surrounded by eternal olives and vineyards of Zakynthos. The area was inhabited by the ancient goddess of hunting Artemis, who was protector of the island during antiquity. In worship of the goddess Artemis, locals named the region “Artemisia”.
Villa Borgheze is located at the top of a hill at Lagopodo borough providing a spectacular view of the island which extends from the famous Laganas Bay with the Caretta-Caretta turtles to Alikes beach, including Zakynthos town and the historical Venetian Castle.
